The Legacy To Follow
Charlie Kirk was an example of a Christian man in the 21st century speaking not only his opinion, not only fact, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He had many talking points in his comprehensive agenda, mission and vision. But none other than Jesus Christ was center stage in his worldview. Charlie Kirk is a saint. He is what man strives to become. A standing citizen of his community. A man of integrity, a man of honesty, truth, curiosity. Someone willing to hear and listen to his opponents though they be irrational at times.
To follow in the example of Charlie Kirk though a sinner, is to follow in the footsteps of a man truly after The Heart of God.
St. Paul says this to The Faithful in Corinth “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ”
In many ways other than simply preaching the Gospel do we follow Christ. In good works, raising a family, serving our community and being kind to one another.
This is what Charlie Kirk did. He proclaimed the gospel, raised a family with Christian values, participated in the public forum, participated in democracy. He convinced the young generation to go church, to find God, to find purpose for their life and to live it out. He did this till the end, at the very young age of 31.
What an example of Christ. Rise to the top of the public arena, speak the truth in love. Be killed for his message. A true archetype of The Messiah.
This is what we should all strive for. To speak publicly and boldly the truth in love. To be proud to be Christian, Follower of The Way, The Truth, The Life.
Be a Saint. Do Good deeds. Build a family, build a ministry, build a mission. Suffer well. Give your life and death to the Lord Jesus Christ.
For those who give their life to The Resurrection, will not face the second death. He is Lord of the Living. Those who believe in Him will Live forever.
